Delegates of the 2012 Continental Congress petitioned government to stop the erosion of civil liberties. Here are prior attempts at resolutions holding the United States accountable for the restoration of civil liberties following broad overreach. The U.S. government rejected it. While the legalities of "fourth branch consent powers"* are perhaps untested in general practice and definition and after an obstructed federal recall and failed lien are untried in a court of law, the attempt is noteworthy and included as part of future discussion and historical documentation.
